How I wish you could end the Civil War(civil war spoilers)

Post » Wed Dec 11, 2013 4:14 pm

Call me a bit silly, but umm...there's something I wish we could have done as an alternate thing. For me, it's the small things in life that makes TES great. If one were to check my history, they'd probably know that I'm Pro-Empire all day any day, and I think the Stormcloaks are fools, but I have a serious crush on Lord Stormcloak and I think the Stormcloaks are infinitely more fun and interesting to play for. I would consider myself a follower of Julianos and I am the person who would do something because it's most logical and benefits the most, but I'd let my emotions sway me and I'd probably go Stormcloak. So let me get to it.

I totally think that once you end the Civil War for the Stormcloaks in Solitude, and if you are known as the Dragonborn, you should be able to profess your love for Lord Stormcloak and offer to bear his children, and that he has done enough for Skyrim and has won the support of the people, and that he doesn't need the honorable and fair Elisif to legitimize his claim.(He has the Jagged Crown and the backing of the Jarls by now, anyway. Speaking of which, WHY IS HE NOT WEARING THAT BEAUTIFUL CROWN I GOT JUST FOR HIM?!? Does he not like it? :sadvaultboy: ) Instead, he can take the Last Dragonborn, a much better prize anyway. That way his children would have the blood of the dragon, much like the Septims of old. Something to rub in the face of the smelly ol' Emperor.

Sure, not much would happen, as he is needed in Windhelm, but as I said, it's the small things. And TES is about freedom, so why can't we marry him? I think that would be a cool way to go about earning his love. I have Skyrim for PC, but it cannot run, so I must play on console :(

On the flipside, it would be cool, again as the Dragonborn, if you took Windhelm, you'd be praised in person by the Emperor, and if he...can't make it, then the High Chancellor.(I wonder how Ocato's doing...)

Better, get both General Tullis and Ulfric Stormcloak some chairs for their armies, give them and their men some popcorn, and put the chairs in view of the Thalmor embassy.

What happens next is this:

Spoiler
Ride on Odahviing's back and burn the embassy to the ground BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I understand what you're saying OP, but you gonna consider this: Our characters are never meant to be legendary, at least not out in the open.

I know you wanna be a baby-making machine for Ulfric but imagine the consequences it'll have on the lore. When the next Elder scrolls come, it will never state that the storm-cloaks or the Imperials won because of player-choice.

If I played by my world, where my character joined the Imperials. It won't state what occurred in Skyrim because there are two ways it can be won, SC wins or IM wins.

Having babies... what if other players like me who are male characters in Skyrim? Then found out Ulfric had sixy time with the DragonBorn in ES:VI? My reaction would be this: :bonk:

Sorry if it's random rambles, but I feel a little tired.

That's where obscurity comes in. Little details are often never covered in the history books. If Ulfric were ever to be mentioned in the coming years, his love life would definitely not be mentioned anyways, seeing as the only woman we know he (would) takes is Elisif, and that's only if he wins, and since you can side with the Empire, that'll never be mentioned. The same way that Titus Mede IIs fate will undoubtedly be left obscure, but his fate certain.

It will be strange for my Orc to become a Ulfric baby making machine...since he's well, a guy. Those will be some 'unique' looking babies. Plus, he would rather get it on with Tullius. :P

But yea, next tes they might mention the civil war in the passing, feel free to fill in the blanks, you are free to play the child of your dragonborn and Ulfric in the next game. :)

I never found Ulfric attractive, I don't know why.

Amen to that, sister! Still, I have to agree with this:

A Dragonborn Lady Stormcloak in the lore would determine both the outcome of the civil war, the gender and at least to some extent the race of the Dragonborn (I find it unlikely that Ulfric would marry a non-Nord, for political reasons - I could possibly imagine him with a bride from Hammerfell or High Rock if it meant an alliance with any of said countries, but even that is probably to stretch it). Things that I strongly believe will be kept in obscurity, judging from how previous ES heroes have been treated.

I still want to end the civil war by having both sides watch as the Dragonborn burns down the Thalmor embassy.

my female stormcloaks (aside from my Ulfric Stormcloak daughter RP) would have enjoyed this. Some as it was used a mod to marry Ulfric :P But they adopted nord children.

"you should be able to profess your love for Lord Stormcloak and offer to bear his children"

"Khajit wants to bear your children , Lord Ulfric."

Ulfric: "Whut."

"he can take the Last Dragonborn, a much better prize anyway"

Joking aside, I think it would've been cool to mary Rikke/Tulius/Galmar/Ulfric. I agree with this thread.

Edit: Link fixed

Next time, I'll end it by bringing Ulfric to the Thalmor Embassy and let him have his revenge on Elenwen.

Oh, did I forget to mention that Elenwen will be bound and gagged to a chair?

Once I let Ulfric do whatever he wants with her I am guessing you could imagine all the things he could do.

I'm sure some of it would involve showing her the strength of his thu'um.

There are probably others things he could do which probably should not be mentioned here for obvious reasons. Some of those do not even involve killing her but instead letting her live with the knowledge of what he did to her.
