Apart from TES universe.

With all the information we have now (I think it’s a lot), what new features and gameplay mechanics do you think ESO is gonna offer compared to other mmorpgs?

It is going to be just the TES universe or there is gonna be really a change and something that won’t let ESO become “another mmorpg”?

Yes. This is one of the questions that one should ask himself: What do I want in a mmo? What is there for me in this mmo? And the last one is "do I want to play this game?"
My answers are: I want big scale pvp with reasons to fight there. Second thing I want is non-button mashing, action oriented combat. And I also want lots of different possible viable character builds. The things I want are in the game and I can't wait to play it.
Edit:To answer your question there is not a single current mmo that offers these 3 points I want in my next long term mmo.

There is more to TES universe than you seem to think.

- build your own class
- make your own decisions
- skills without cooldowns
- no stict recipes for crafting

is part of the TES universe, too.


And if we are lucky, we'll see the first working RvR since DAoC.

I agree, it is not so much what does ESO bring to the mmo market compared to other games, but does it bring that I want to play, it brings a few things that I like, and to me seperates it from the pack..

It will be the biggest (in terms of IP) action-oriented MMORPG to be ever released.

Hotkey MMOs, the default template in the MMO maker is pretty much on the way out as far as I am concern.
