I like and dislike no looting in pvp. I like it because in previous games I would be focused on the battle and miss looting all the corpses, so I would have to go back and loot everything while my group moves on...
But I dislike it because it most likely means pvp players wont make nearly as much profit as pve, which is too bad.
If you loose your gear then you die you would not make profit unless you win most of your fights, no you can not use top level gear as you can not afford to lose it.
IN ESO, there is no such thing as PVP / PVE armor . Armor is made for both types of game play. Also there are some PVE quests ( caves, dungeons, etc) in the PVP zone as well. This is RvR game play (not war front nor battle field type), even when questing in that area, u might be doing PVP as well (Open World PVP / PVE in that one VERY LARGE Area) I would think that one can get loot that way as well.
Only Cyrodiil is a PVP zone and it is VERY large, rest of the game is PVE.
I am really sure that Paul Sage said (at least) once, Cyrodiil land area in ESO is three TIMES the size of Skyrim land area in the game of Skyrim.
