I have another question, can I, to be the best damn, tankyest, damage absorbing, brick wall of a person, wield TWO shields?
Never before in the history of ever have I seen a game that lets you duel wield shields.

Alternatively (and probably for the better) I could be wielding a shield in one hand and some sort of magic ward spell in the other. I would also like this better as well. (Less of a joke )

Anyway, that's just me. I like to be a wall and laugh in the face of damage. Perhaps the ward spells could reflect enemy spells back at them, or even shield allies who are standing behind you?
Just a few thoughts.

If you were to duel wield shields, how would you maintain any decent amount of threat? A tank needs to keep threat and aggro by constantly attacking, especially in ESO where it's going to be hard to hold full aggro of enemies.

The magic idea on the other hand could possibly be effective if you put enough points into your magicka

You can hit people with shields. hehe.

But yes, you would need a good amount of magicka to have on tap to sustain in a fight.

Plus the shield bash from the video looked incredibly painful

You can hit with your shield yes, the question would be then if that uses stamina or not, whereas your standard click attacks with a 1H wep don't afaik.

Shield hits are counted as attacks, do not see why it would not use stamina, especially in a game rumored to not have cool downs. Seems kind of unfair to beat someone to death with your shield ad infinitum?
