Harm's way trophyachievement

Hello.

I'm on my third playthrough of the base game, going stealth/lethal and hunting for the remaining trophies. I did have some frustrations with "Harm's Way", where you're supposed to cause 5 unintentional suicides. I knew about the "Bend Time/Possession" combo from the trailers and also the "Wall of Light/Arc Pylon"-related feats. But what I would really like to know is: are those the only ways you can do it?

Two things I've tried without success:

1) Place a springrazor on the ground, possess an enemy, take him close to the springrazor, leave possession.

2) Make an enemy come after me, possess him, take him close to a ledge, leave possession.

Both of the methods resulted in the enemy dying, but none seemed to count toward "Harm's Way". Seeing what happens when you go the "Wall of Light" way, I thought it was reasonable to expect that method 1 should also work. And why should having enemies fall "by themselves" not count as well? It all made me think the trophy is somewhat hardwired to those widely-known methods.

Can anyone confirm that? Have you been able to do it otherwise? I'd be glad to hear some ideas.

Thank you!

The key for this achievement is that the cause of the death can't be attributed to you directly. Springrazors are definitely out, as are rewired Walls of Light.

The common recommendation for this is to possess party guests in the Lady Boyle level, and have them stumble into the (not rewired) Wall of Light. The other way is to use Time Stop II as an officer is shooting, and then possess them and walk them into the line of fire.

It's a bit arbitrary what counts and what doesn't; you might also get it to work by setting the difficulty to easy and trying to get an overseer to blow himself up with his own grenade - no guarantee that this counts.

Hi, Hinkel, and thanks for your reply.

The way you put it, I now see that the springrazor approach should be ruled out. But, still, approach no. 2 (taking a possessed enemy close to a high ledge and ending possession, having him fall by himself as he stumbles forward) should work, shouldn't it? The place where I tried it was in that sort of "water elevator", on the "Return to the Tower" level. There are segments with no railings around the pit. I would take possessed enemies there and leave their bodies. From what I could tell, they would fall to their deaths (even though Corvo can jump into water from any height without harm). Do you think approach no. 2 might work and maybe my choice of place was bad? Or are the rules to this trophy really that tight? In anycase, I ended up getting the trophy by alternating between the 2 popular methods.

Regards,
