Control of Equipment.

In ESO it is possible to have various different builds with different equipment and skill sets (or decks). In TSW we have the gear manager system which has never really worked since closed beta and to this day is still broken. In short it will sometimes load the skills and equipment and will make you go through it manually once loaded just to make sure everything is in the right place. This can be frustrating if you are wanting to switch load outs during dungeon runs or pvp and solo pve.

Just recently I have been playing FFXIV A realm Reborn. They also have an equipment manager and it works rather well, it loads up the equipment that you set up in the manager and also the skills that are used by that job or class. They also have a different inventory for armour and weapons as well, so when they are not being used they do not take up room in your normal inventory system.

With ESO's ability to swap and change load outs between various decks and equipment would it be possible to have an equipment inventory and a loot inventory as well as a gear manager like the FF and TSW mmo, just one that works?

I doubt that this will be in the release. And i doubt it can be modded, reading the limited support for mods they plan.

Hopefully someone will write a lay-over of some sorts to do this!

No separate PvP gear in ESO, however armor will depend on both role and play style, an healer in a raid would typically use light armor for magic bonuses and magic protection.

An healer in PvP will wear heavy armor as he would be the main focus on enemy players.

However change armor during fights would be a bit stupid and everybody would use it.
