So today while riffling though my email, i found my long awaited and evidently scanned over beta key. Downloaded the launcher and started the install. It keeps giving me error 102 unable to load metafile. Anyone one have a clue on how to fix this? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing to no avail.

No one here can help you. Beyond saying you should contact support there's nothing we can say or do to help you.

There is no beta going on at the moment so there is nothing to connect to.
