~Explanation (Due to my strange nature of naming things)~
-Stupidity-
Stupidity comedy is basically the types of comedy that are, by their very nature, doesn't require much thinking to laugh at and are normally good with those moments, sense we all do have our own little moments as well.
-Intellectual-
Intellectual comedy is basically the types of comedy that requires a little knowledge of something specific to fully understand OR were fully thought well and planned to, what some may call, "perfection". Note: either knowledge of a specific object or from a previous book/episode of the series.
~Stupidity~
-The Poker-
Basically, the jokes are making fun of something, either on their own or using stereotypes, to be funny. The best example of this would be South Park. The big problem with these jokes are they can be taken seriously and can cause harm to others...
-Is nature calling?-
These are jokes that are made in hopes of using a natural thing of your body to make you laugh. Basically jokes about farts, hunger, lust/six, etc... Things to that nature. I wont go into too much detail as I do not wish to anger the moderator gods!
-Moronicity-
A specific character-type of comedy actually. Basically, the character in question is in the show just to be extremely stupid and repeatingly random just to hope to make people laugh. Peter Griffin from Family Guy is my best example for this.
~Intellectual~
-Well Played-
These are jokes that are "well played" in the story or simply the situation that the characters are in. These jokes tend to have a build-up type of thing or require the knowledge of what is going on, what is in the background, etc. This is also the main type of joke under "Intellectual", (Unlike with Stupidity comedy, which doesn't have a main type since everything under there is used commonly).
-Lovely Characters!-
These jokes are those special little comedy moments that specific characters have all because of how well thought-out their personality is. This could be quite a lot of things actually from what a character prefers, naturally do, accent, etc.
-Madness!-
This type can be mistaken for Stupidity but it is actually counted under Intellectual. Why? Because this type of comedy, like Moronicity, requires a specific character in order to be there. However, it requires an actual well intelligent character who is, so to say, on the mad side of things... I believe the #1 example I think must of us will recognize is Sheogorath (Another on my mind being Discord). These characters, due to the combination of their intelligence and crazy-self, are fully and completely random + unpredictable. They rarely, if ever, repeat any jokes/events and when they do, it is only a few times or because the fans liked it enough. Oh and never let their crazy side fool you, cause most of the time... These characters KNOWS what they are doing, knows the serious stuff, and will get things done accordingly to their plans... Just be ready for a crazy ride!
Note: If you believe a type of comedy isn't being covered, please tell me and I'll see to it myself and edit anything accordingly. I only prefer Intellectual comedy and even then, only a few shows I watch with much comedy... So I may or may not missed something.
