All of this pre-order news is great. It is good to hear there are options for playing any race within any faction just for pre-ordering the game, which I think ''most'' folks will do anyway. The question I have is does this also apply to physical pre-orders made at say, Gamestop...? I've pre-ordered the standard edition, which I will be changing to the physical imperial edition, just, well, because... All of what I have read so far seems to apply to the digital pre-orders. I'm wondering if you still get the explorers pack and the ability to play any race within any faction if your getting the physical copies vs the digital copies...

Yes, you get everything with the physical edition too.

But it seems shaky that you get to play 5 days early with the physical copy. Therefore I will be cancelling my order and pre-oredering a digital copy.

So, If i buy the boxed version, I will get a code to early access. You will be able to predownload the game some days before early acess and when the early access start you will just enter the code and play. Meanwhile you physical copy will be arriving. It is like that? So I will have a digital version + a physical version?

Yes this is supposed to be how it works, hence why they send you the code 2 business days after you place the order.
