First off, Your complaining about the subscription fee is pointless. Many of you are crying cause you have been unemployeed for x amount of months for x reason or your just 13 years old and mommie refuses to pay for the game. Or you can't scrounge up the fee because your 5 kids are needing school vacinations and your dirtbag self wants to play a game instead.
Point is, Bethesda and Zeni have put in thousands upon thousands of man hours to deliver an amazing game. And I'm quite sure their is going to be hundreds and possibly millions more man hours invested into keeping the game great in the future. AND I'm also quite sure those guys want to get paid for doing it. I know my [censored] doesnt want to work 60 hour weeks for free.
Next, I have yet to play a F2P game that is filled with as much lore or content as a subscription based game.. AND about 90% of F2P games are "Pay to win" sooo unless you dish out $60 Joe Shlong Face is going to melt your face with his legendary +9999 staff that cost him a hefty $20.. So yes lets make TESO F2P and empliment a system that allows rich people to face roll your wife and her sister for as little as $50. great idea kiddies..
My solution.. as I stated before your either 13 and mommie wont buy the game for you, or you dont have a job for whatever reason. 1// kid your too young to play the game, read the EULA and go play runescape or neopets. 2.. broke guy, if you cant afford $30 a month for your console sub + your TESO payment your prioritys are wrong. get a job, get out of your moms basemant, and find a girlfriend that will let you dress her up in the Bonemold armor replica you spent $500 on and you can dragonborne shout to your hearts content.
That being said, Games have always been a way to pass the time for people who have their life financially stable, if you can afford to game then you should hopefully have enough money to feed your 5 kids, that doesnt mean breaking Ramen noodle packets in half to feed them. If TESO went F2P or Pay to Win, Im quite certain your poor self would be one of few to actually play the game, much like all the other F2P's that have a lifespan of 1 yr before their player base drops down to under 20,000 people. Lets take EvE, or Everquest for example... been around for quite some time, still svck subscriptions from people. still owning the gaming world, "Granted EQ recently went F2P since they have EQ2 EQ3 Eq 9 whatever released..."
~From a guy who has bigger concerns about TESO then subscription complaining.
