Not sure if I just missed this (Sorry if I did) and I'm being blind..

But I've always wondered why there is a post limit of around 7 pages for threads..

Wouldn't it be easier instead of having "Thread #(Blank)" to just have 1 thread that has unlimited post amount?

M'aiq has always wondered this as well...

It's for lots of things I imagine.

One- Server load. If posts just went on and on then that would put a strain on the server.

two- Mods would have a [censored] ton of reading to do and cleaning up a thread with 1000 post would be a nightmare...Holy talos just thinking about it . Said it once and I'll say it again, being a mod isn't easy and keeping a 200 post limit to things makes it easier for them to keep order.

That's all that I can think about.
