SUGGESTIONS FOR FALLOUT 4 FIXES

I play fallout a lot. Like A LOT. In my time in the Commonwealth I've found more than a few things to be irritating, and I'm hoping Bethesda will hear my cries and work with me.

First off: Fallout is an amazing series, and Bethesda have done an amazing job with 3 & 4. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining because honestly I went from Halo 5 and Bo:3 and Destiny every day to Fallout 4 all day every day. I was waiting for this game for years and hot damn did Bethesda deliver. However, I feel as though some shortcuts were taken to meet deadlines, and some people's ideas may have been brushed under the rug during the creation process, I would like nothing more than for Bethesda employees to see this, and be reminded of such shortcuts or ideas so as to fix and implement them. Any opinions and other ideas would be helpful, and increase the chance of this being seen!

1. Settlement editing needs upgrades, fast!

-There should be a button to turn off the snap feature, so I can manually place objects where I choose.
-Objects should be placable inside of each other (eg. Two small or medium stairs on top of each other to get a set of stairs the size you choose.)
-Terminals that aren't hooked up to anything but a generator should be able to give advanced options for settlers/jobs/provisioners/stores/and for a little humour: a personal journal that gets updated daily whether you're at said settlement or out adventuring.
-More building options! More floors, more decorations, more lights, more walls, more roofs, more everything! The greed is real! XD
-The land is bumpy, awkward, and unstable to build on, and the max height for settlements is way too low! A good fix would be to let us flatten and smoothen the ground as we see fit so that the entire experience (including the broken gardening system) is easier and more enjoyable, put water where we want so we could have purifiers at all settlements (either by manually picking it up with buckets or connecting an irrigation system of some sort). It would also be nice to get rid of the bushes and shrubs that LITERALLY GO THROUGH WALLS.
-You know how the settlers are always banging and hammering away? Well we should see the fruits of their labour, the walls they're fixing should eventually be able to be fixed much better, same with roofs. I don't like that my settlers can be shot through those walls.
- MORE SETTLERS PER SETTLEMENT! I've had 52 settlers in Sunshine Tidings Co-op and it still wasn't maxed out, but Sanctuary Hills is stuck at 18. My Charisma is 11. A good fix for this would be a maximum of 30+ settlers per settlement, which would also be good for those of us who ran out of settlers for jobs but still have more room for progress.
-Settlements NEED to have more space to build in. I'm not talking increases barriers, I'm talking waaaaaaaaaaaaay more room in the size bar so I can build cities instead of shabby villages. I play on Xbox so console commands just aren't happening for me.

2. Power Armour

***SPOILER ALERT***
***SPOILER ALERT***
***SPOILER ALERT***

-If you don't complete the BoS storyline you lose access to two unique/legendary power armour peices and I haven't found any others to replace them. (Haven't explored the entire game yet but I'm confident that with my progress I would've found some by now) There should be unique power armour peices from each faction, each with their own different enhancements and specialities. As it stands I have a suit of Frankenstein armour with one arm and two legs unobtainable. Weak.

***END OF SPOILERS***

-Each power armour helmet should have a different HUD, no only visually but also for function. For example the T-60 armour would have a HUD that displays all your info at the bottom like normal, but upgrading to the X-01 with the awareness perk would always show your enemies weaknesses, instead of having to go into V.A.T.S. Every time (just an example, you'd be able to think of a better way for sure)
- There are walls in tunnels and buildings that are barely holding together, you should be able to sprint and break right through them (for added badassery)
-Companions that are told to enter power armour seem to have very fragile power armour peices, even if the X-01 is equipped. Maybe increase companion armour health?
-Full body upgrades on top of the arm/leg/etc. Upgrades would be swell. Such as an upgrade to make the power armour buoyant so as to swim or float or even move faster in the water. Also when you don't have the aquaboy perk, you should have a breath meter while in your power armour so you know how much time you have. (Unless it's your action points and I just failed to notice, I'm not perfect)

3. General Gameplay

-An "im stuck" option in the pause menu would work well too, I've gotten trapped in the silliest of places only to find my last save was a few level ups ago :(
-better/more efficient conversations could make the game more enjoyable, I've had issues where certain dialogue options wouldn't show, it would just show the button and nothing happens when I press it, or when switching companions it'll glitch out while selecting where the first companion should return to and the only way to fix it is to walk away and try switching them again, companion conversations sometimes repeat right after finishing one, and if I don't complete the second one they'll keep approaching me to talk.
-The player should be able to jump just a little bit higher, since fall damage was greatly reduced in Fallout 4 compared to previous Fallouts.
-vision underwater is a complete joke. You can't see anything unless you adjust your camera to just the right angle and glitch it out so the water "disappears" visually. This isn't effective for adventuring. There's almost no point in going into the water unless you're playing on PC where there are more options for graphics. This doesn't sit well with me. But it could just be me.
-the Jetpack uses AP way too quickly, I'm not saying let us fly around the entire map but it would be nice to be able to pay attention to where I'm trying to jump rather than conserving the tiny amount of fuel it has.
-Companions will always Unequip the weapons I equip them with (yes, I press y) and switch back to their default weaponry which is much less effective.
-Companions should be able to level up with their own skill tree and perks (not as many though, only I'm allowed to be badass)
-You should have multiple options when threatening someone, rather than having one for threaten and the rest are either neutral or good. When someone wrongs me, I want them to know how bad of an idea that is.
