raiders respawn

is there a way to reconfigure the respawn rate of raiders

why i am asking is becase right now when you vclear out a place 2 days later those raiders are back

and somehowthiseems silly especially after you have re established the minute man and have the support of most settlements

that they do respawb i have no problem , it is just the rate at which they respawn is so riddicelous short

or do i have to wait for the modding community

I don't like it too. I wouldn't mind if the place would be just empty for some time, even while having some other faction quest. It would be more real for me - like I forgot to take that thing, so I will just sneak in, hoping there will be nobody yet. If the quest would be kidnapping, it would spawn with the group who kidnapped that person. But it seems like this part of the game was done with FPS in mind and no RPG :(

But well, it just svcks, nothing to be done about it - even if there would be a different group of mobs there - as some players wanted to have. On the other hand atleast somebody would be happy with this part of the game..

Yeah all respawns are too much. I once destroyed a vertibird and killed it's crew before i went into the water treatment plant only to see both respawned when I left the plant.

I strongly dislike that no matter how many locations I clear they will always be at full power soon after. It's like my character makes no impact at all. That is really unimmersive and has bothered me since Oblivion. I guess it is for those who just want to kill something and are not bothered if the world they play makes little sense but it is totally out of hand in Fallout 4.

Locations should change after they I went there killed everyone and took all the stuff. I doubt that they will change basic mechanics like this afterwards but if they are willing to put more work into this game than some DLC that takes place of the map then they should definitly consider doing something in that depardment.

Heck the minuteman are all about making the commonwalth save but in the end you can't do anything. I already suggested a whole system of gangs/ factions that battle for controll of locations and of course the option to join a raider gang in one of the countless suggestions threads. This could nicey tie in as "fifth" ending (not that there are real diferent ending) and "after the end" gameplay.

Wait, wait your raiders respawn in two days? When I clear out Oliva or Museum for example, its clear until I'm like 7-10 levels higher. The only exception seems to be if the locations are picked for radiant quests. Anyway when mods hit after the GECK comes out , I'm sure this will be adjustable.

Sometimes it takes a while sometimes it doesn't. I didn't bother finding out the exact rules.

Depends on the place. There are places that have been marked Clear since the first time I strolled through, others are routinely restocked with fresh mobile bullet and stimpack pinatas.

Yeah specific locations respawn really fast, especially if they are the target of radiant quests. I killed off the raiders on the way to goodneighbour and they have stayed dead the whole game, though I did wander through there every couple days. I have had a site respawn literally in about 30 seconds. Walked though got about 20 metres beyond and when I turned around and walked back it had respawned.

I think I've cleared the Corvega factory at least three times already. Within a week new tenants have moved in.

You'd think after a while they'd say: "I really like the place but the neighborhood is a bit dicey. How about we try that abandoned factory on the other side of town?"

If you are on PC, you could try changing the time scale:

~

set timescale to X

RETURN

~

In Skyrim default was 20 I believe, meaning every second in computer time while the game was not paused was equivalent to 20 seconds in game time.

I routinely set mine to 6 and have for years. I also did this with FO4 almost immediately and have played it that way for hundreds of hours. Days and nights pass slower, though not painfully so.

I also find that places seem to respawn a bit slower than when I played it on the default timescale.

If not on PC, sorry.
