Is your Balistic Weave working?

Post » Tue Jan 12, 2016 9:22 am

I've just picked up the ballistic weave perk and applied it to an army uniform and a newsboy cap (all the other hat options are poor and the cap is the less intrusive of what's available)

Before ballistic weave, my usual armour is a little over 100, with it I'm around 330. But it doesn't feel like my resistance to damage is 3 times greater, no way near. I haven't performed any tests yet, but upon my first couple of missions wearing it my damage resistance feels pretty much the same as before.

Is anyone else experiencing something similar?

I'm on Xbox 1.

Well, with the Mark 5 upgrade on under all my usual armor, I can walk through the starter areas leisurely while raiders plick at me, while I pick them off wilst singing Atom Bomb Baby, and maybe lose 15 health through the whole exchange, so I guess it depends on what level enemies you're going up against.

Ghouls are another issue, as the rad damage isn't reduced by the Mark 5 upgrade, so I still gotta contend with that.

The way http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Damage_Resistance#Fallout_4 seems to function is likely the culprit.

Thanks for posting, but I have to honest, I've read it twice and still couldn't follow it all the way through. Could someone please tell whoever conceived it that great work is often beautifully simple. And the chosen method for damage/residence, or the way it has been expressed in the wiki, is anything but.

But I do appreciate you trying to help - with posting the link. Thanks agan :)
