Hi all - I'm trying to get a Provisioner into a suit of PA but I cannot figure out how. I gave him the armor pieces but cannot equip without the PA frame. So how do I get him into the PA frame??

As far as I can tell you can't. You can order companions into PA, and regular settlers will use them if there is some around and enemies appear but you can't directly get them into it.

I've previously seen people post (on reddit, for example) that they've equipped their Provisioners with PA, so someone must have figured out a way.

are you sure it's not a mod they're using?

Nope. Never thought to ask. :/

If you go into workshop mode, you can order the settlers to move and if you select them and then select a power armor frame, they will climb into it if they can get to the back of it.

that does not work on settlers
