No Way to Remove Map Markers?

Post » Thu Jan 14, 2016 6:09 am

I just started playing, and put a marker on the farm I was trying to walk to.
Reached it okay. (It's now a thriving settlement.)
But here's the thing: must I play through the whole rest of the game with that marker on the map?
It's annoying because it shows up on my PipBoy all the time (for example, when indoors and looking for an exit).
I thought it would be like previous Beth games, with a functional map...?
There has got to be something I'm missing here!
So guys, how do I remove a map marker (on PC) I no longer require?

Clicking anywhere on the map again should bring up a little prompt with the option to move your map market, remove it, or cancel the action. You'll want to choose the second option.

Left click on an empty space of land. An option should appear to remove marker.

You say you thought it would be like past Bethesda games. They have all had the same mechanic. At least Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim and now this, anyway.

Ah yes - the Empty Spot of Land (like Skyrim).
Thanks guys. Brain cramp.
3000+ hours frolicking in the wintery north, you'd assume I could figure this one out myself, heheh.

The druggy woman in Sanctuary is also sitting in her chair up in the rafters of the house...
But that's a topic for a different post?

Apart from these minor things I'm really enjoying the game.
Thanks again!
Going in right now...

Customer Map Markers is something I rarely use so it's easy for it to slip :)
