I'm on a PC using a XBox 360 wireless controller. The in game help says that the "B" button should open the Pip Boy, but I get nothing???

You have to find the Pip-Boy first. If that's not the case then I don't know what to tell you.

just got the game and am sure I'm just making a newbie mistake, but according to in-game help, using the red "B" button should open it up, but I get nothing? Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

So I can not equip armor until I find the PiP Boy? Sorry for lame question.

The "Tab" key should still work, regardless of the Controller that you use. Just as an aside, I have had exactly zero luck getting this game to work with Controllers myself. Just too many bugs and conflicts. Try using a Mouse and Keyboard for now, and maybe try your controller again in a few Patches.

You should get the Pip-Boy by the time you exit the Vault. You take it off of a dead scientist.

Nope. The keyboard is locked out when the controller is in use.

Where I have had zero issues with my wireless 360 controller and adaptor working. Gotta love PC gaming eh?
