I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding or if I've found an error.

The way I understand it, in 2077, Professor Campbell and two of his grad students, Curtis and Leslie, were working on a secret military project at Mass Bay University. According to Leslie's computer entries in the research room, she and Curtis were trapped in that room at the start of and for the duration of the War.

When I got to the main hall for the University, I found a Student Records terminal which confirmed that Leslie and Curtis were, indeed, enrolled in 2077. As an aside, I noted that Leslie had a 4.1 GPA -- smart kid!

However, a little later, when I found the Dean's Terminal, all entries are dated August 2285. There are entries discussing the activities of Professor Campbell and the grad students written in the present tense, and included email from the Professor himself to the Dean.

Shouldn't those entries have had a 2077 date?

Yeah. The terminals are also being used by the Mayor and others a few years ago, so I was a bit lost reading it, but that was my impression as well.
