Ok I maybe late to the party with this but I just found out that if you throw a grenade and then enter VATS you can shoot and explode the grenade... Just killed a small group of Super Mutants...

And strategically placed mines. Even better with the explosives perk.

Yeah but it was very satisfying launching a grenade into the air and shooting it... Anyone can shoot something on the floor which is stationary...

If you get good at that it can be more accurate than just throwing them..especially since they roll, and half the time enemies run away taking minimal damage..

Yeah I think having a shotgun helped as it has a wide spread...

Well I knew you could do that, but I never actually tried, for some weird reason throwable explosives rarely miss when I use them, and they are incredibly effective all the times. I actually think that shooting them mid air is less useful.

I still don't know why there are no "sticky grenades" or nuke grenade/mines that are crafteable. They could make then require tons of rare materials so it would balance them a bit.


The sticky grenades should have been in from the get go. Grenades even with an arc are rolling everywhere and not accurate.

It is possible to shoot enemy grenades thrown at you as well. If timing it right with the use of Jet, you can make'em blow up in the face of the thrower

You know what would be really and truly cool.


Baseball grenade + baseball bat. Long range grenade launcher!

Maybe. I've never, ever had problems not getting the job done with a mini nuke, just by aiming it in the vicinity of what i want terminated.

Do enemies use baseball grenades? It would be awesome to hit them back at them with the bat.
