Garvey is always giving me quests at Finch Farm and The Slog. I'm in a loop. How do I get Garvey to give me other locations to do quests like County Crossing for example. Is there a way or am I stuck in this loop?

The best way to deal with Preston is to never meet Preston.

I literally always make 10 meters range from him when he's around.

I think I might try killing all the settlers at the settlements and disabling the radio towers. I'm just worried that he'll keep sending me to Sanctuary and since the Longs are essential I'll have to go to them every time.

Hmmmm - maybe you can talk Preston into being a suicider, give him a mini nuke and attack a Bloatfly? Would solve two problems at once...

On topic, ever since I gain settlers at Sanctuary, they have been regularly troubled by ghouls like an idiot. Even after I exiled them into County Crossing, the Settler would come back to Sanctuary to tell me they have problem with ghouls or their friend been kidnap, then they walk back to County Crossing. I'm serious here. I really hope someone can wipe County Crossing off and kill these morons.

I just leave Preston and the other four in the museum in Concord.

Just grab the PA and don't open the door again.

It's unfortunate but I find those 5 people to be the most annoying.

I leave him waiting in the museum after I wipe the deathclaw. That's if I even want to bother with the suit of PA early.


As far as I am concerned they decided off screen that no random hero we have decided to stay here in this museum and settle here forever. You will never hear from us again.


My handcannon for this is great since I dont have to butt marcy in the face everytime she talks I dont have to avoid preston and I dont have to hope jun and mama murphy are going to finally jump off the roof of the prewar house anymore.


Bonus is I have settlers in place of them that *GASP* do their jobs and dont wander off randomly.
