EDIT: Below I am including the link to another piece of Danse fanart I drew over the weekend.

Hello! I finally found this forum specifically for fanart and fanfiction, so I decided to share my first attempt at Fallout 4 fanart. I drew Paladin Danse on an "ACEO" (3"x5" card that some artists tend to sell and trade with others, apparently), and used Prismacolor markers and Sharpie. I've never been good at drawing technical things, so his armor isn't 100% accurate, including the coloring. Maybe next time I draw him I will have him in the BoS uniform, to save headaches. ^^;

Nice job! I like how you did the rust with the prismacolors and created the BoS logo behind his head in a silhouette-like shape. Looking forward to seeing more stuff.

Thanks! It was tough figuring out how to do the rust, and I just had to grab a color and cross my fingers that it would look right. There also was the issue of getting certain colors and details right while being stuck with a set number of screenshots online. I didn't know how I'd properly do dirt and such on Danse's face with markers, so I left that detail out entirely. Also found out that I missed a few scars, so I'll be sure to get that right next time.

The logo in the background was inspired by the official East Coast BoS flag I saw pictured on the wiki page, with red being the primary color.

Very cute! He looks a bit younger here, not as robust and experienced as in the game, but that's not a bad thing. I also romanced him and I really like Danse. He has so much honor and integrity, his whole personality is awesome.

I accidentally left out some of his facial scars and didn't add the grime he always has, so I'm sure that's one reason. ^^; I romanced him as well, and he really grew on me. Now when I play my new character, I notice how stern and almost stiff Danse starts out as, as I now know how much he loosens up to some degrees as your relationship with him progresses. Who knew he had a soft spot!

Oh yea, I totally agree with you!! Well, he did loose the grime in my game, since I removed his power armor and gave him a new hair cut and a roguish looking beard. I need to upload my screenshots and show you.

Hah, too bad I don't have the game on PC, otherwise I would mod the heck out of Danse (that would really be the only mod I would care about; the rest of the game is fine as-is), give him a badass outfit, but keep his hair and overall look. I think he'd look best with a black BoS uniform underneath Maxson's coat, and with Captain Kells' cap. >w>

Yea, I tried a few different outfits on him, but we ended up matching. LOL

He's currently my favorite companion, but I am biased because he was the first one I romanced in the game, lol.

Hey, everyone is at their own level of skill, so there's nothing to be ashamed about. Even I started out drawing very awkward-looking people (actually, I drew animals, mythological creatures, and Pokemon way before I attempted to draw humans, and even then I did so while attempting anime-style art). Practice is the key, as well as time. I didn't get to where I was overnight, that's for sure.
