Actually only playing this game for the sake

Post » Fri Jan 22, 2016 5:15 am

It is entertaining enough, but after only a few nights of playing Fallout 4 I have realised one truth - for 2016 this game is left wanting.

And before you kiddywinks and people who have no concept of what should be expected are concerned do not reply with your little kiddywink responses.

I am one of few who have paid for and bought every Bethesda RPG game since 1994 when Arena came out on 8 Black Plastic Floppy Discs

This game is amazing... for a good few years ago!

Bethesda have managed to once again take an old model and re-sell it and people think it is marvelous. Clapping my hands and bowing to you Bethesda. You are the Man who opens his long rain jacket on a street and says 'Hey wanna buy my Gold Watches' and people actually do.

Clapping my hands again - in a sarcastic and disgusted manner.

It is unfinished & lacking.

I have just entered Corvega Assembly Plant and right away in my face there is a red breezeblock flickering away at me - yep killed any kind of immersion and feeling.

GET IT TOGETHER BETHESDA OR START LOSING CUSTOMERS AS I WONT FORK OUT MY MONEY FOR THIS [censored]

Yeh....I've been playing since Arena release day myself.

And I'm quite happy with this game.

I'd tell you that I'm thoroughly enjoying it, but my opinion apparently doesn't matter here since I've only been playing Bethesda games for around 12 years.

Gotta admit, I've never heard kiddywink used to preempt dissenting opinions before. It's a fun twist for a familiar theme in gaming forums.

What's a "kiddywinks"?

Yeah, it's not as fully packed as Skyrim....well at least it doesn't feel like it is. It kinda seems like a puff pastry. Delicious on the outside, but just a bunch of air in the center. Why beth, why? I'm having to make up my own quests and dialogue at this point.

I am guessing it is related to a One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater.

Maybe the center of the puff pastry will be filled with DLC? I hope it's good. I'm almost done playing for now. I'm at level 75 and starting to get a bit desperate for something more to do.

I've encountered bugs, crashes, dropping framerates, flickers, but hell, OP, you're saying as if Bethesda is the worst game company out there.

You know how Fallout 4 would be if it was by another company?

It'd be like this:

- Cryolator as pre-order DLC

- Legendary weapons/armors as bi-weekly DLC

- Ballistic Weave as DLC

- Building objects as DLC

and / or:

- In-game money for real life money

- in-game material for real life money

That said, among the clusterfudge they need to fix, I'm glad this game stays to the classic gaming way as I know how it went in a one and half decades ago.

There is Sake in the game? I wasn't aware that Takahashi served Sake with his Ramen. Or are you being bribed with Sake to play the game?

So you could enjoy playing Superman 64 with enough Sake? I think that only Marijuana or Hallucinogenics could make that game enjoyable.

the name rather would have suggested the comeback of centaurs, in diapered babyface versions, swinging radiation rattles at you :-))

Kiddywinks is a named Bloatfly who wears a bowler hat. He only shows up if you go to the center of the Glowing Sea drunk with only a bathrobe on.

Some bits of the game do feel unfinished though.

Obvious attempt at pre-empting opinions which disagree.

If I get the meaning of that correctly: you're just a pot calling a kettle black here. Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Perhaps re-write your opinion on the game without the hypocrisy and with a bit less rant attached. Then maybe we could agree on some of it's shortcomings.

Sake? I'm in, though if I was only playing for the Sake I may only make it a few days too. Hey there we go Sake FO drinking game. Every time you get Rad damage take a shot, watch those storms.

Arena, that game was awesome. I actually still have it on an old Packard Bell computer in my basemant. Ahh the days of making boot disks just to be able to run the game, good times.

This topic really is a waste of forum space, from having to edit out forum word censor avoiding in the OP to flaming other members who may not agree with the OP, (which includes me and I am most certainly not a "kiddywink"),
