Yeah that is an inconsistency with Fallout 4.

It is either a stupid mistake or Bethesda's way of recanting the origins of Jet. I like to think it is a mistake.

It is possible that it is a different type of drug both called Jet. So the Jet sent to Vault 95 was using some other recipe discovered before the Great War and the rest of the other Jet is using Myron's original formula. Jet sounds like a drug that makes you feel like you are flying fast. So it wouldn't be surprising if 2 different drug creators came up with the same name from drugs that do similar things.

Agreed that is a possibility. Myron could have got the name from Pre-War records and liked the name and copied how it is used.

Eh, Bethesda has always had a bit of a thing for changing bits and pieces of the canon from the original 2 fallouts. This is nothing new honestly.
