So, I'd like Piper to tag along as a reporter as I thoroughly explore every nook and cranny of the Fallout 4 world. However, I don't want to explore Diamond City just yet. I'm thinking to take a trip through the North to the coast, and then maybe down through the eastern islands. My question is, if I run into Diamond City, grab Piper, and then prompty leave to come back to the city a week or month later, are there any events/quests/other that might have timed out because I avoided them when initially visiting the city?

I avoid going to places I don't intend to immediately complete in general, because I've found that bugs occur frequently enough that I've already had a couple issues. Generally something glitched when I first visited a location but I didn't find out until I actually went through thoroughly many hours worth of saves later.
