Well the creamsicle's on the general board didn't waste 3 minutes before nuking this post. But I would love to get some feedback on a show I created with some friends.

Here it is:

It's called Raiders and it follows a bunch of utterly ludicrous people across the wasteland as they try and find their place in the world. Mostly through misunderstanding and violence. Hit us up with dat sweet sweet critique.

It's pretty funny... the voice acting is good... hopefully you can make it more complex than two people talking someday to.

Well a few things to keep in mind, one if you're advertising to make a profit that's not allowed. Two the general board isn't the place for fan creations like machinima. So it fits better here. On the plus side he does make a lasting impression.

I liked the writing. Good voice acting too.

Would definitely watch a series of these two exploring the wasteland.

That totally makes sense. However, that doesn't mean we can't be unduly resentful because we were banished. We will maintain our position until forced to capitulate otherwise.

The beer pong/jock bit made me laugh out loud

I like it, glad to see a fan video with a focus on writing and dialog rather than action and explosions.

Absolutely.

You could even work that into the bit. Dude one and dude two could discuss that totally epic battle they just had off screen. All those lasers and plasma and explosions, all that cool stuff that happened juuuuust a second ago.

Like a low budget movie that can't afford the special effects, or like the scene in 1960s Batman where they go to commercials with a torpedo heading straight for the dynamic duo stranded on a buoy and then return with the two of them safely in the Bat Copter (or something) talking about the selfless dolphin who just now sacrificed his life by swimming right into the torpedo. Happened just now, just a moment ago, was really cool. You should have seen it.

Would love to show it to you, but it already happened so you know you kinda missed the boat.

MrSmileySmile, congratulations on being the first external Idea that will actually make it into the show. Follow us at a_synchrony, well hit you back and ping you when it gets aired.

And Mr Tundrafrog, we couldn't agree more. As far as we see it, the Fallout universe has been a bit underserved in the story department. Lot of people cranking out let's play videos and weird npc fights but no one is taking the time to curate good narratives that explore the context of the universe. So we were all, we like to say [censored] a lot: Let's make a web series.

LOL I love it! Reminds me of the Half Life 2 machinima - Civil Protection, where 2 Combine Soldiers talk about their lives and doing silly stuff, while on patrol. :)

The dialogue in your video is really well done! Love the voice acting and can't wait for the next episode! :goodjob:

What I find so funny about these situational comedies, is that we all know how these characters supposed to act and then take it and twist it to be like almost ordinary people, with their flaws and strange habits.
