Love Automatron! Now, when is Wasteland Workshop coming?

I'm definitely an instant gratification kind of guy. And I'm not even a millennial!

I think the DLC is pretty awesome, it adds a lot of potential for future play, love the guns, love the dungeons, love the dialogue, really love the robots

Expected to be around April, and of course a little late topped with unclear status.

I know right? I can't friggin wait for it now. The potential of these two DLC's working together. I totally get what they were on about with the Pokemon reference thing now. The ability to make a robot fighting arena and the robots and then be able to bet on them fighting it out? Has me sold. :goodjob:

Robots vs Robots,

Robots vs deathclaws

Robots vs prisoners

I just hope the UI is updated a great deal for this, as the current one is bad enough that it will likely ruin the addition of yet more crafting.

I just want to know if I can build robot companions to send into the death arena with a deathclaw.

A friend of mine thinks Sentry Bots are superior to Assaultrons, I think the opposite, I belive the optimal robot companion needs to have more of an Assaultron than of a Sentry Bot, with the second DLC we will finally find out.

Holy [censored]e (as Cait would say) this DLC is great! I need to try blowing up a robot companion in combat, but I also want to keep Ada as my primary robot pal, what with the explosive minigun I've already given her it only seems fair. Thanks so much, Bethesda, I love it. Very stoked for Wasteland Workshop, as well! But I can certainly make a month's worth of content from this robot modding and storyline.

Edit: Dat censorship doe. Also, when I say "blow up" I mean initiate its self-destruct protocols.

Not sure how much it will deal towards robots, but Assaultron's laser eye is completely non-sense.

I think Assaultron wins, provided they don't try being an idiot and get shot by Sentry's gatling guns.

I think it's even stronger agaisnt robots.

I believe assaultrons are better because sentry bots better parts are.... only the torso! but assaultron deals better melee with her arms, has better mobility in more terrains than sentry(sentrybots get stuck everywhere), and they have those OP laser heads. Sentry Bots have lots of HP and carry weight, but everything else, aside torso, svcks compared to Assaultrons.

Assaultrons are truly the best robots in the fallout universe without a doubt.

Mine even defeated that habal thing.

My BOS character is a canibalistic sociopath. (He's also very distrusful of synths and most robots) The arena will be perfect for torturing enemies and anyone else he hates. If someone wins a lot, he may let them live and work at his base.

Now that I can build robotic killing machines I just need Wasteland Workshop for the beasts. If I can put a trap door in a floor and have a deathclaw below it my happiness will be complete. Not quite a Rancor but still would be cool. Settlement bell directly above. Ding ding time to feed my pet!

Yeah.. now comes the hard part. Risk becoming sick of the game by starting a new character for every dlc or.. .. waiting until every dlc is out to start a new character. Neither of those options are fun.

Red Rocket is my personal base and where I've made my robot workshop. I built a one-man toilet block there (I just got a thing about making sure there's dunny's for everybody). Anyway, I couldn't find that robot, thought she'd moved on and was quite happy if she did. Checked the dunny, opened the door - and there she is!

And there she stays for whatever reason, wanting to be left alone.

Ok then - enjoy!

Wish Marcy would do the same at Sanctuary... and her sad-faced mate Jun too. What a pair they make - misery loves company.

It is nice, it adds robots to the wasteland DLC but fighting guys , while not in the "Combat Zone", which the story prepped me for, just probably won't be a big thing for me.

Maybe if I can bet on myself fighting, or on the matches like in KOTOR it will be a ton more fun. But just watching Deathclaws, settlers, and robots take each other apart, not so much.

I love the value Automatron added, all the mods, new armor, some weapons, tons of robot settlers I can build. New fodder for the upcoming arena.

I look forward more to the Dust Devil Raiders, and Mechanist storylines they may add to in the future.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to wasteland workshop too. I hope that we will be able to also use our robot creations, and have them fight each other. I'd also like to see them do a complete overhaul of the settlement creation. Add more items that we can build, fix the settlements, and maybe add a few more. Doubt it would happen since it's only $5, but I can still dream
