Not getting Automatron

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2016 11:07 pm

This DLC is not showing up on my computer.

I went to Steam and tried to find it and I go to ADDONS in the game and it says " no content available ".

Perhaps it downloaded and installed in the background?

How do you know if you have that DLC?

Restart Steam.

Restart your Computer.

PC (Steam)

1. Log in to your Steam account.

2. Navigate to Library.

3. Right-click on Fallout 4.

4. Select “View Downloadable Content.”

5. Ensure the “Install” checkbox is enabled for the Automatron DLC to begin the download.

For further assistance, you can contact Steam Support here: https://support.steampowered.com.

It should appear under Addons...

Mine just appeared without me trying to download it. I checked the Steam menu, and it also showed up in ADD-ONS in the opening game menu.

If you aren't seeing it in those places, you may need to hit the Steam page for the DLC and follow the instructions there.

Umm, did you actually buy the Season Pass or the DLC? If not its not going to show. Yeah yeah, I know, silly question, but its the first one that should have been asked.

And I just came back in here to say " Nevermind " because I discovered you have to BUY the DLC.

I thought DLC was free but we had to pay for expansion packs etc. etc.

Oh well --- wrong again.

They can keep it.

Thanks to all for the responses.

Haha got eem!

Yeah it would have been nice to have free dlc.. This type of dlc especially could have just been free as it seems like it should have been part of the base game to make an intelligent scientist/engineer character playstyle more appealing from the beginning. With the way things are most people are just going to play the dlc quest with one of their current highly leveled characters and finish it very quickly and the dlc will be little to nothing to most. So you're not missing out on much.
