So what is this story going to be about well...


The Hero Within centers around a broken hero in a broken land. As he fights to survive not only the dangers of Skyrim but the dangers of the human soul.



It will be three book series. This is the first one, while the following two will be posted around the summer to early autumn. To avoid spamming the section. Every Sundas (Sunday). I will be posting a chapter of the book. I don't know how i will post the entire thing all in one post. But most likely it will be available through some download site or something, I haven't figured that part out yet.


Here are somethings you might want to know about the book that I am currently writing up.

-The "Journal entry from a Witcher" aka the Hero Within. Wouldn't be possible without multiple playthroughs of Skyrim. Truth be told i played both men, and women main characters, experienced all sorts of dialogue, combat and funny moments throughout my playthroughs before i got something right. The story was and will be crafted through different multiple approaches (thanks to the Alternate Start mod, and other mods ).

-Other influences such as Game of Thrones, The Witcher, etc. Played a part in creating the series as well. So it isn't just something made right then and there. But through a lot of other things. Including books as well.

-The Scenery screenshots, plus the kill-move screenshot. Those were created in part on the overall feel and tone of the situation. It's kind of hard to explain with this one. But while I type up the story, i am imaging it as i go along. So in part, i actually do my own imaginary battle scenes, and watch maybe a couple of romance movies or romantic moments in video games to get the right mood in the situation...and oh yeah, listening to a BUNCH of music from games like Castlevania, Final Fantasy, etc.

- Naming the character(s) wasn't easy. Sometimes I have to pull one out from the Fantasy name generator website. Or use a name like Triss or maybe using a historical name. Like Vespasian. While it may seem unoriginal to some, finding the perfect name for the- i guess perfect situation can prove to be a bit challenging in the end.

- My early stories like Amongst the Winter Breeze, Dark Reign, even poetry helped influence the Hero Within. Heck, the Hero Within story was written before. I had at three books done LOL! However, I wasn't satisfy with the overall direction and conclusion. I attempted to reboot it, but it wasn't working out for me in the end. So here I am starting from scratch.
