Rest in peace to the legend of legends.

Charon, you would be the first to make a thread like this, being the ferryman of the dead. :P Do us a solid and bring 'em back our way?

So, even he couldn't win against the grim reaper. What chance do the rest of use have? :lmao:

I'm surprised he lasted this long with his health problems. Must have been from him being in really good shape from professional boxing.

He was an inspiration of will power, determination and conviction.

RIP Ali, may you find peace in paradise.

Sad news indeed.

He was one of the greatest boxers as well as a champion of peace and stood up for what he believed in.

RIP Ali

Though I was never a boxing fan, he was entertaining. (Interviews) It was sad seeing him suffer the effects of Parkinson's disease!

Sorry, but it's out of my hands. :(

When asked how many sit ups he could do, he replied:

"I don't count my situps, I only start counting when it starts hurting, when I feel pain, that's when I start counting, cause that's when it really counts."

An amazing athlete but honestly had a negative impact on Boxing as well with his approach to showmanship and his attitude.

Yeah he was very unsportsman like and cocky and rude (he makes lebron James look like a nice humble person). But still, one of the best athletes in the world, and at least had something to back up the cockiness, which makes him better than many other athletes with that attitude.

Still, svcks to lose someone as legendary as him, and hope he finds peace in his death.

I really wanted to say this but didn't want to get flamed. Professionally I admired him but as a person I never did.

RE: his attitude

I thought this article was a good read: http://thestacks.deadspin.com/my-dinner-with-ali-511528500. I'm not sure if it is because he has mellowed a bit with age or if he was genuinely playful. This article makes it seem like he had a very playful nature.
