It's sad to hear about his passing, the surviving B5 cast is shrinking rapidly.

Yeah, it's kind of weird. Andreas Katsulas (G'kar) died at 59 years old, and the actors who portrayed Sinclair, Zack Allen and Garabaldi all died at age 60. Four of them dying at the same early age ... it's almost like there is a curse.

Richard Biggs (Dr. Franklin) died at 44.

Bruce Boxlietner(hope I spelled that right) is still around. He played Captain John Sheridan.

Very sad news. I actually just finished re-watching seasons 2-4 with my son. Quickly regretted not starting with season 1.

Damn just saw this. Very sad news, B5 was some of the greatest Sci-Fi back in the day.

RIP Jerry :(

Honestly, it seems liek it was some of the best drama on TV at all, never mind just sci fi. It certainly aimed for more fairness and sensitivity than the heavy-handed preachy finger wagging that Star Trek resorted to a lot. How many other shows have an atheist writer who makes one of his villains' redemption and positive character growth revolve around a religious awakening?
