This was sort of expected considering Prosieben (Germany's biggest commercial broadcaster)has sort of hinted at this, in there quarterly reports the last 3 years.

For those who don't know ,Prosieben is one the two companies owning ZeniMax's stock, the other being Providence Equity Partners.

OMG this is bad, why is everyone trying to sell their Zenimax, do they know something we don't? This must be the Human Head curse, the attempt to takeover has left deep scars that the Prey reboot can't hide.

Maybe they're worried about a risk? Maybe Zenimax is putting some chips on the table, as it were. Or maybe they want to cash out while they know they're on top.

Providence Equity Partners isn't going to be selling ZeniMax Media Inc. because they are afraid of the Prey reboot or whatever risks.

Providence Equity Partners don't hold on much long to stocks they own. They just sell to expand their growth.

ZeniMax Media Inc. is not in trouble here.

Yeah, I'm with Ballowers. I think an autonomous ZeniMax is a good thing.

As you say op, their reports have hinted at this sale for some time, so why the rush to worry?
