Apart from l.a.m.e, is there any other mod that does that??

My favorite is http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/12466/? Supreme Magicka uses an .ini to let you configure how many potions your character can drink. The number is keyed to your character's Alchemy skill. For example, I usually set mine to allow 1 potion at Novice, 2 potions at Apprentice, 3 at Journeyman, ect.

Excuse me but what stands L.A.M.E for, never tried that mod before.

If there are other mods that does the same thing I like the idea, because only allow the player to only consume max 5 potions in-game breaks both gameplay and immersion IMO.

I like how Duke Patrick's Combat No Recoil deals with potion drinking giving it an animation.

It doesn't deal with the number of potions you can drink at once, but makes you vulnerable when consuming so that you have to plan when to do it or you'll get easily killed.

By the way, is anyone aware where I can download the module I've seen in FCOM Superpack where during combat you have to choose the potions to drink/ equipment to change pretty quick or your character will get debuff, colapse when being in menu for too long?

I think it blends well with the rest of the mods trying to target exploits.

A very minor - and friendly - grammar heads-up: ?potion is a countable noun, so we would formally talk about limiting the number of potions, instead of the amount. Not trying to be a grammar cop here, it's just that I'm a non-native english speaker and I appreciate it when others try to help me learn from my mistakes.

This is not entirely off-topic, however, for I also wanted to share that the number of potions can be limited by changing the relevant game settings through the console (using the SetGameSetting command) or by making a very simple plugin in the CS or TES4Edit. The settings in question are:

http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=IMagicMaxPotionsNovice
http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=IMagicMaxPotionsApprentice
http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=IMagicMaxPotionsJourneyman
http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=IMagicMaxPotionsixpert
http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=IMagicMaxPotionsMaster
?
Example to change them from the console:
?SetGameSetting iMagicMaxPotionsNovice 1

Yes, you can just take the ini from any mod you use and somewhere add for example the lines

setgs iMagicMaxPotionsNovice 1

segs iMagicMaxPotionsApprentice 2

etc

That will automatically change the game settings when the ini is loaded.

@Kobal

?

?That's great advice. No idea why I didn't think of suggesting it myself :) In fact, I put all my setting edits in the INI that comes with Fundament.

?

Many popular mods simply change game setting values, and using ini files allows you to deactivate them to free up plugin slots.
