We all have that one thing that we like yet the masses seem to hate it. Whether it be a movie, game, book, song, whatever. Once it gets a reputation of being terrible, you're a bit of a weirdo if you like it.

Two come to mind for me. The first being the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRk5Gjl_cAg of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb. It doesn't detract from the original song, it's still there for you to listen to. And on its own, it's a pretty decent, chilled out song. The second is the Dukes of Hazzard movie starring Sean William Scott and Johnny Knoxsville. I won't say it's a brilliant film, but I sat and watched it waiting for another show to start, and before I noticed I'd watched over an hour. I was successfully enthralled in a pretty fun movie.

Con Air is a fantastic film.

I didn't even know that these were considered bad...

Liking Fallout 3 more than New Vegas

Yeah, but it's about as many as those who think little of Skyrim. Both of which I'd say are but a vocal minority considering how much praise they get outside of these forums where we critic every inch of their games. Same goes for Fallout 3, despite my opinion of it.

I liked it too... along with DA2 (which didn't seem to win over Bioware fans).

Yeah, I thought that's what this topic was about and was going to say cigarettes (though I should add I haven't smoked in years and haven't bothered with that vaping malarky).

I'm not sure what embarrassing pop-culture things I like other than the aforementioned Oblivion and Fallout 3, and they're only controversial in these parts anyway.

Oh then for me its that new justin bieber song go love yourself its catchy and a tongue and cheek song type of song.

That was my vice too. Now it's e-cigs.. I suppose that's still bad. For the nicotine, if anything.

I don't consider Oblivion to be a "bad" thing that I like. There are some very vocal people who don't like it but they are not as numerous as they seem. While there are certainly a few glaring flaws, I enjoy it and think it is a great game.

Some "bad" things that I like:

-1998 Godzilla that was aforementioned (I think it is a bad movie, but I still like it and it is nostalgic for me).

-Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions. Seriously, they really aren't bad. Not as good the first Matrix by any stretch, but the criticisms are overblown.

-The New York Knicks. Well, the organization finds ways to make me hate them sometimes, but they are the NBA team I root for. And they are baaaaaaaad.

Survivor cops a lot of hate for some reason, but I'm a huge fan.


It's one of the few shows I watch on tv.

Con Air IS a fantastic film. No idea why you mention it here.

And for those who like that Godzilla (1998) film, shame on you.
