[HLPz] Old save games CTD

Post » Sat Dec 04, 2010 6:04 am

Since the last patch I've been unable to load my last 5 save games. I get the "This save game relies on content that is no longer available" and then crashes to desktop if I click yes. Is there any way to find out what mods are missing, as I'm fairly sure I have the ones I was using installed.

I've tried a full reinstall and other save games and new games will load and play no problem, just my most recent ones that refuse to load and I've no clue what I've changed or which mods are different. Here is what I'm using. Launching with Kaburkes FOMM and NVSE Beta 4 (as I was before the patch), anyone got any clue?

FalloutNV.esm
Moddable Unique Weps.esm
AlsatianRex.esp
DarNifiedUINV.esp
VeronicaFix.esp
VeronicaScribeRobe.esp
RNVExtended[100+GNR]v3b1.esp
Bullet Impact Increased LOD.esp
Lucky 38 Suite Expansion Bed Option.esp
Scythe Movement Mod.esp
Companion Sandbox Mode.esp
SaveCass.esp
Fellout.esp
Colored Piplight - White.esp
Piplight Brightness - 300%.esp
Readius_NV.esp

I believe there is a way to see which mods a savegame is using with FNVEdit. Just don't remember the exact steps.

Wyre Flash has this functionality also, but I have never used it so I can't comment on how well it works or ease of use.

I know how to use the functions from Wrye Flash (or at least the Oblivion version which shouldn't be too different.) If you got the program downloaded, switch to the "saves" tab and in the bottom right hand corner there is a "note" section and above it is a list of all required .esm's and .esp's. Clicking on it will ask if you want to update it. After that its all done and ready to go. Or at least thats how I've used it. If anything is missing, someone should probably correct me. <.<

According to Wyre Flash this is the load order for my last working save.

00 FalloutNV.esm
01 DarNifiedUINV.esp
02 VeronicaFix.esp
03 VeronicaScribeRobe.esp
04 Bullet Impact Increased LOD.esp
05 Lucky 38 Suite Expansion Bed Option.esp
0A Scythe Movement Mod.esp
0B Companion Sandbox Mode.esp
0C SaveCass.esp
0D Fellout.esp
0E Colored Piplight - White.esp
0F Piplight Brightness - 200%.esp
06 Readius_NV.esp

I can't see anything there that would cause a crash...I've tried removing the new mods but I still get the same error.
