Overview
-----------------

This adds a bag that you can carry around and put your items in. The Storage Bag item is listed under Apparel. When you equip or unequip it, you open it up and can transfer items between it and your inventory. Further, while the bag is equipped any items you pick up afterward will automatically be stored in the storage bag rather than cluttering up your inventory. If you place the bag in another container or give it to a follower, all of the items currently stored in the bag will be transferred to the other person's inventory. You should not sell the storage bag, as its price does not reflect the items within it. The storage bag is not a Bag of Holding - the bag itself has weight (just two units) and anything within it will still weigh the normal amount. This is intended for keeping your inventory clean, not to allow you to carry everything and anything without care for the weight.

You can drop the storage bag at any location. NPCs should not be capable of stealing it unless it is placed in an unsafe container. While it is dropped, it will appear to be a duffle bag that you can move around with the Grab key like any other item. If you activate it while sneaking, you can open the bag while it remains on the ground. If you activate it while standing normally, you will pick it up.

-----------------
Known Issues
-----------------

This mod is currently in Beta. I have tested it, but not as extensively as I would like before declaring it finished. There are two known problems with the mod as-is, both of them minor.

-When transferring items between the bag and your character's inventory while you are carrying the bag, it will appear as if your inventory's weight is going down. This is not the case - everything in the bag will still weigh your character down.
-The duffle bag's physics simulation acts a little strange at times - I have absolutely no idea why. If someone is more experienced with editing .nif file havok data and can see what the problem is, I would be very grateful.

Issues I'm particularly worried about are certain items not being automatically sent to the storage bag. At this point in time, I believe weapon mods may not be included, but I have not tested this. There may be others. Please let me know of any you come across.

-----------------
Installation
-----------------
Extract the archive to your Fallout New Vegas\Data folder. This folder is under your Steam installation like this:

Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout new vegas\Data

Make sure New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE) is installed. Activate the LMDStorageBag.esp file in either your mod manager of choice or the game's launcher, then start the game. Your brand-new storage bag should appear in your inventory immediately upon game load.

-----------------
Uninstallation
-----------------
Make sure your storage bag is empty before uninstalling. If you do not, any items held within the storage bag will be lost forever. Afterward, deactivate the LMDStorageBag.esp file. If you wish to remove the files completely, remove these files:

Data\LMDStorageBag.esp
Data\Docs\LMDStorageBag Readme.txt
Data\Meshes\Clutter\Junk\dufflebagMoveable.nif
Data\Textures\LMD\items_bag.dds

Anyone who wishes to can use this mod however they like, include using them to form the base of another mod. Credit would be nice, but isn't necessary.

Hi, just wanted to stop by to let you know i love your mod :D, do you plan on adding any more bags (i think on the nexus you said its easier to make ones that arent automated, and that would be fine :) )

Thank you in advance for any reply you might make.

I might eventually make several more bags you can carry around and access, drop somewhere, etc., but without the auto-taking-stuff-from-inventory option. I may also include an option to automatically toss stuff from the original bag into the others and sort them appropriately, but we'll see.

is there any way to have specific items go into certain bags automatically? for instance having all weapons and armor go into one bag and having crafting items in another bag.

Yeah, that's definitely possible to do, but it'll have to wait until I actually implement other bags (obviously).
