Player Animation Bugs

Post » Thu Dec 09, 2010 11:37 am

On the player whenever using the .357, shotguns, lever actions and others the player encounters a bug that prevents him from doing an action for a brief period of time after reloading. This can be a seemingly random event but most often occurs in combat. To replicate, equip a .357 and fire all six rounds or change ammo type. Now while moving reload. When the animation completes there will be a brief period where no other action can take place. If you are having trouble replicating, try with the quick reload perk. If you go into thirdperson during the bug, you will often see that the player seems to glide forward. Is the animation bugged?

In addition, equip any pistol and go into thirdperson whilst running - holster your pistol. The gun will bug and sit inside your hip.

Please fix these bugs, especially the reload bug. It has killed me on man occasions.

After the last latest patch I've noticed some animation bugs and being in stealth makes it happen more often or triggers the animation bug.
I noticed my arm/hand/weapon disappear or its like my arm/hand/weapon is being drawn and was pointed up in the air and being lowered to the normal position.

This is just something I've noticed beside the bug you posted about which I'm also experiencing and like you said in a heated fight it can get ya killed....

Indeed. Be nice if testers had actually thoroughly playtested through the game... sigh.
