I uninstalled and reinstalled my game and created a new character, but once I get into the Vikki and Vance casino, the population of Primm opens fire on Ed-E. This time I walked up to the old Nash guy and sold some stuff to him and after that everyone turned hostile towards Ed-E.

Going to bump any thread I see about this, because it's stopping me from wanting to progress. In my particular case everyone goes hostile after I try to store some stuff on ED-E.

i had a strange occurrence with Ed-E after i got him i fast traveled to Goodsprings and went to the The Prospector Saloon and every npc in the Saloon looked at him while running some away and some to him i thought they where going to attack him but they didn't don't know what happen

The work-around I use is I just leave Ed-E outside before I come in. I haven't found a sheriff yet, so if the town repopulates outside of the casino, then I assume I can just leave Ed-E in the NCR camp.

I added ED to player faction. Seemed to fix most issues. Not ideal, but worked nonetheless.
