Two Problems Need Squashing

Well i've found the root of the problem, but can't seem to figure out why exactly this happened. Apparently I don't have any .nif files in my FONV folder to use the NIF scope on. What file/folder is the .nif files in or file that I need to extract the files from? Downloaded the nif scope yet can't seem to locate the files to modify by adding in textures/etc... .

Second problem is more of a nuisance than anything else to be honest. Managed to make my own little underground bunker and placed the entrance in Good Springs. Everything works fine except when I exit out of my home made underground bunker my companions aren't next to me. However when I quick travel to a new area they are standing right near me. Copied the Helios1 observation level and removed alot of the stuff from it except the nav mesh. (Checked the mesh and it works fine with Ed-E and Boone following me everywhere in the place)

1: It sounds to me as though you have not unpacked the BSA archives so that you can get at the individual files - see FOMM on Nexus to help with that.

2: Have you Navmeshed your bunker and finalized the Navmeshs of both the Bunker and the NVWasteland cell in goodsprings where your bunker connects? You need to do both.

Luck,

1. Try download falloutnv mod manager and using that to unpack your bsas ( they'll be in your fonv folder).

2. I can maybe suggest two things:

- Make sure the navmesh reaches the door of your home?
-Make sure you haven't built your entrance over a navmeshed bit of ground (Don't know how big your entrance is but your companions might be getting stuck in there?)

These are just suggestions but hopefully they'll help =]

good luck getting it to work

That maybe the problem right there since I dropped a sewer grate onto the pavement in GoodSprings. I'll have to go through and see what's up, but this sounds like the most likely answer. As for Unpacking the BSA files the only thing I did was install the game from the disc then I just moved the geck files from the zip folder into the folder with FONV.

*Edit*

I've fixed the problem with the coding and i'm going with a more specialized approach where I used the IsWeaponInFormList function to achieve what I want. This gives me alot more control and allows me to custom tailor the repair kits so I could make them just laser based, plasma based, or do BIG GUNs like the Heavy Incenerator, Missile Launcher, and Fatman.
