Your update did nothing. I save the game like crazy in hopes it would help. I cant enter Fort Mc Carren without the game locking up and then restarting my ps3. Christ, this game is complete garbage, its not even heavy enough to use as a paper weight. Here is what your game is good for.

1. coaster
2. concealable frisbee
3. can be broken and used to slit wrist.
4. use the case to hide some spare cash in
5. use the game/case as an example when talking about things that dont work
6. can use reflection off disk to shave
7. you can use it to break your ps3 internally
8. Makes your other games look and feel like there from the future.

Fallout MODs, if you want to delete my account thats cool. I don't want anyone to know I played this game, my friends are gonna think im an idiot.

ha, had a good laugh at that. if you are having bad freezing issues you should check out my post under the ps3 issues forum, it has some tips I noticed made my game experience much more enjoyable. it's called "for people with freezing issues"

While Story and Gameplay wise its one of the best games I've ever played, FNV is by far and away the undisputed worst console game "Product" I've ever spent more than $20US on.

I am dumbfounded that a company the scale of Bethesda and its subsidiaries or partners could or would release and continue to poorly manage a product at this quality level.

I mean, a letter to the community of apparently "loyal" Fallout fans, and new customers, showing some sort of respect or appreciation for keeping the faith thus far is in order.

Its a double slap in the face that we dont even hear from them, in the sense of acknoledging or appreciating our commitment and expense thus far.

Perhaps its time to write some letters of my own... Im sure the voice-over actors they hired would not appreciate being aligned with such poor quality of the final product. What good is a pretty Mercedes Benz if the thing doesnt run. Looks good but, um...

What model PS3 do you have? Apparently all of the launch models and any model capable of playing PS2 games can't play any recent PS3 games at all. Sony is even forcing developers to make this change permanent... apparently if you don't have a PS3 slim then you're not going to be able to play ANY game at all because Sony's new SDKs eliminate all old PS3s

Dude, you need to stop telling people that crap - it's not true. I can't tell if you're some kind of troll or if you actually believe it. If it's the latter, I can assure that it's not, nor will it ever be, true. Something like that wouldn't benefit SONY in any way and I highly doubt they'd spit on their biggest portion of users for no reason.

You are misguidedly incorrect.

The newer Sony SDK's eliminate older PS3 systems that have not been upgraded to the more current versions of firmware. If you want to play newer games, then you MUST download the most current firmware that is required by the software to play. This misconception comes from Sony removing Linux support on the backward compatible models via firmware update. If you choose to not download the newer firmwares, you lose the ability to download critical game updates that require newer firmware versions, as well as losing access to online multiplayer. Such is the price of keeping Linux support on your PS3.

Ok guys and galls it was said several times that the patch would not correct bugs that already happened. Try starting a new game and see what happens. I must be one of the lucky ones that can play 12 hours + and not have it freeze or glitch.

I am in the same boat. Found a solution to my problem I posted about wariler this week, but the final battle was covered in freezes and glitches. I will give it one more try (on start from scratch number 5 now) and if I got problem after problem I will trade it in come the new year for something like Mass Effect 2 or something.

1: Lol I had a good laugh at this one. The story was as limp as...well you get where I am going with this (hopefully). The new aspects I think were shoddily done as well. It's a bit annoying to get kicked out of the crafting screen everytime you craft something. Also you can repair anything and everything to 100% even if your Repair skill is as low as can be, yet there are people in the wasteland that can only repair to 75% etc. Wtf? hardcoe mode is a complete joke. I am playing and have only played on Very Hard difficulty and the only place I have had any trouble was with the Nightkin in the basemant of the REPCONN Test Site or whatever the name of that place is.

2: The reason they were able to release this game in the trash state that it is in, is because truthfully, people continue to buy their products regardless. The only way this will stop is if people stop buying their products. (Which is unlikely to happen.)

3: They are a big company you really think they will show any respect to us lowly customers?

4: One big reason that we will not hear too much about patching etc. is because of the fact that Obsidian developed the title and I am sure that the people over there aren't looking at this forum too much. Also read # 3.

5: Letters will probably just be filed away in the trash barrel. But feel free to write them I know I have, but as I said they probably just file them all away under T for Trash.

I doubt Sony would be happy to hear the sound of millions of users buying an XBox in one mass rush. If they did do this, the only thing my PS3 would do is play Blu-Rays for me. It's such an appallingly bad business decision that there's no way that you have accurate facts.
