If there will be 50 levels...

...Does that pretty much make the perks Educated and Comprehension useless now for most builds?

No, from what I understand they will be adding a perk that will allow players to cap their levels at 30 or whatever...

I think they are doing this to allow players to explore and discover things in game they normally couldn't cos of limitations, without having to restart the game and rebuild a new character from scratch.

Thats just my guess.

In my personal experience they're already not-so-useful. I don't take them anymore. But yeah, their use will diminish even further.

I'm aware of the perk/trait limiting you to current level but I doubt most would take that, especially if they introduce new and useful perks. And as someone mentioned elsewhere, the number of perks at 50 is still only equivalent to level 25 of F3.

In my playthroughs (EW or Unarmed) I found them very useful, but look forward to dropping those two slots for other perks in future builds.

I'll always take Comprehension. I can't stand the thought of getting only 3 points from a book when I *could* be getting 4.

Na, then you'll be able to use pretty much all weapons at 100 skill. Sounds more like having the ability to be combat effective while having 80 for everything else. Would be like FO3, only larger level, less skill points.
