I finally got my copy of Fallout New Vegas today and before I say anything, bugs aside, it looks like a very good game!

However, I finished up the first quest (the one that basically guides you through making your character) and he tells me to talk to Sunny to get better with the weapons. I do and she asks if I want to go clear some geckos with her. I do and she has me kill a few. Then she says there are a few more wells that need some gecko clearing. I agree to this since I want some caps and follow her. We clear one well and another, and she wanders off somewhere while I loot the gecko bodies.

Now I can't find her anywhere, I've scoured the area and went back to Goodsprings to try and find her. The quest is grayed out now and I haven't gotten paid or the opportunity to talk to her again.

I think this has got to be a bug, right? Is this something that a lot of people have encountered? It's possible that I just lost them and just am missing wherever small area on the map she wandered off too, but then the quest probably shouldn't be grayed out in the Pip-Boy right? The only one that was available was the one that wanted me to go to Primm. Anyways, I deleted my saves and I'm gonna just start over since having a bugged quest only 10-20 minutes in left a bad taste in my mouth.

I guess I'm just curious more than anything if this is something that has happened to anyone else?

Same thing happened to me too. I went to pick up stuff and she was gone . I believe I found her back at the first well but I can't remember for sure.
