i have been reading alot of New Vegas info at the Vault wikia when i was in vault 34... "If the player makes it to the armory, then leaves it and saves, the save will become corrupt. If you try to load the save game, you may get an error message saying that it is unable to load the game due to a problem with the storage device and you need a DLC pack. Then, it will put you back on the start screen. If you try to load your most recent save, it will do this again." and i did just that on accident. I went ahead and went to the menu to see if it would load or not and it did so 5 min later i stopped playing fear of losing any data (like Dragon Age Origins but thats another story) but when i went to the main menu all it said was loading downloadable content please wait. the message is normal since i bought the game with the preorder bonus. My question is... I waited 5 min and nothing happened and i had to boot to menu because i couldnt do anything because the message was in the way; will my save be corrupted now because i shut the game down since it was "downloading content"?

PS. i had to leave for work so i wasnt able to check if anything was wrong i am also at work currently typing this.
