Ranger Safe House : Fallout: New Vegas

Well I have been on my travels and found near black mountain a ranger safe house (more of a cave, or small bunker!) Well it was locked (I did have a look inside what with the PC and the unlock command!) but what I would like to know is how do you normally go about getting the key? As there is a very nice ranger inside that hands out FREE ammo

Wow thanks! I have the key and have been looking for this place.

You get it from the NCR after getting a certain rep from them, it's like your reward.

Where exactly is it?

Right cant do screen shots and posts, But i will explain what I did and what happened.......

My and my companion (that nice girl, that likes to punch her way out of all trouble, that dosnt like "men", and is a member of the BOS) decided that it was time to take on the mission where you must clear the black mountain of Super Muts, and there leader (I hope the black mountain is the right place? - But you know the mission I mean?)

Well we quick travelled into the mission, and then started running down the hill (dont ask me why, we just did!)

We then came under major amount of fire, and me being me, worked out that at level 10 with limited amount of 9mm rounds it was proberly a good time to run away!

So at the point where you see the first ground of Super Mut's (armed with such nice things as rocket launchers) and they work out where you are and come looking for you (and firing!!!!) I turned to my right and jumped off the cliff, and kept running down the hill towards the road, about half way I got the signal that I had found the Ranger Safe House.

Points to note - If you go too far there is a small grounp of DeathClaws in the area, and they arn't up for a chat!

If you find the place, you (well i did) get free ammo, there are some beds, and I expect it would make a good little house, as its nice and secure?

Can you check out your map for a sec and tell me what direction it's in compared to Black Mountain, and how far away from Black Mountain?
