Requests for Improvements Thread

If this is in the wrong place please move but there is no general technical forum only platform specific.

Having played roughly 20 or so hours now I would like to ask whether two things could be improved. These are mainly immersion things and I understand that the developers are busy bug fixing and what not.

1) Lighting and shadows; can ALL light sources please cast some sort of shadow (even if it is only player shadows)? Quite strange to enter a cave or building to have zero shadows whatsoever. (Bar the ODD torch or light that does seem to cast one)

2) Duel wielding; Can both weapons show up when they are sheathed? (at present I only get the right hand weapon showing and the left hand one magically appearing when entering combat stance) Why cant both be present, such two sword sheaths or and axe and a sword sheath?

I thought this thread could be a good place to keep other peoples requests and such issues (such as recent post of inclusion of facial hair and paint editing in game etc)

First of all, elk (and most other fauna) can swim as fast as they can run.

2. Said fauna seem to float over the ground when they begin running.

3. After leaving an area, bandits' weapons are floating above the ground, and I cannot pick them up.

4. The Blacksmith in Riverwood gets stuck in the side of his house, underground.

5. Weapons picked up and dragged around have no collision with dead bodies. I wanted to honor the Old Orc by putting his axe on his chest.

6. The textures are VERY pixelated. More so than Oblivion's. I'm not sure if this is because I'm playing the 360 version, but still.

7. When I walk in snow, the snow and tree shadows look like Daggerfall graphics. Did I mention they were pixelated?

8. Many people who are doing doily tasks such as drinking or carrying firewood, are holding nothing. Hands are in the position, but nothing is in their hands. Hod tries to drink air, and the wood elf in Riverwood pretends he's working.

9. The doors in game sometimes remain in an open position, and you have to click them twice to enter the area.

10. Argonians gasp for air after being underwater. ???

11. When unequipping a two-handed weapon, I want to be reset to hand-to-hand, not to my previous spell, so when I do re-equip dual spells, I don't accidentally deselect them.

Some good points, I'd like to add also something that my brother found out and fixed on his PC version. (I play on 360). The trees do not allow shadows to be cast upon them, any shadows such as from player or objects is cast under it as if the tree was not there. My brother fixed this by simply enabling the option in his .ini config file. Could this be changed for the consoles in next patch please? (Minor issue I know but one that is so easy to fix and has a known fix I might add)

I've noticed something amusing- I got an eye from a saber tooth cat, and when I look at it, it looks like it came out of a Nintendo64, it's not spherical at all.

Would really like to see a kill shot animation with a bow like in fallout the camera would follow the bullet. Also I would love to see the gear I have equipped at the top of my inventory not in alphabetical order with the rest of my gear.
