You do the same as if you were going to pickpocket. But instead of taking items from the target, you give items to them. Works the same way as buying and selling stuff.

crouch and then "pick-pocket" the person...when in the inventory menu, switch to your own inventory by pressing "LT"...then select the clothes that you want to reverse pick-pocket then press "A"...then just press "B" and they should be wearing the clothes.

Save right before you try it. Give the target some kind of clothing/armor with a higher DR rating. Wait.

When the target “equips” the new clothing/armor (you may have to “wait”), now is the time to pounce! Pick-pocket again for awesome results!

It should work, the same concept works with weaponry. But, watch out for ammo. A caravan only needs “one” of the ammo type for the new weapon given, they will perpetually “replenish” ammo.. Followers I’m not so sure, I never use them.

I have never heard of this "reverse pickpocketing". i mean, i know what it is, per say, but is there something to it that is helpful or beneficial? if there is, i would be grateful to know.

Useful if you want a NPC to have better armor or weapons. Also used when you don’t want to kill a NPC, but do want their equiped clothing/armor or weapons.

Like if you wanted to swipe Zip's mole rat outfit. You can't exactly kill him for it, after all.
