Hi,

I have the steam version of Skyrim and i love the game so far. However, the save functionality is bugged. When I save the games they do not appear in the load games menu. The save files can be found in the "My Games" folder but they all have a .ess.tmp extension. I have to remove the .tmp extension to get the save file to load.

It seems that skyrim does not save the game properly. Please issue a fix.

Okey.....it seems like the issue was with permissions... Skyrim did not have permission to modify games in my "My Games" folder. I added the permissions manually and now it works! Might be worth having this in an FAQ as I have seen other posts on the internet with people having similar issues.
