i run at high settings but my fps is all over the place from 30-100 with v-sync turned off, but whats also odd is lowering the graphics settings seems to make almost no impact on my FPS, like one time i got to an area that i had lower fps in (it was about 30) which was near the big tree in the center of whiterun i saved the game and lowered my graphics to low and the fps only went up to like the high 30s in that area

Try windowed mode. Fixed all my problems

nah windows mode didnt change my fps

turn off AA - turn down shadows

ive tried turnong off aa and lowering shadows and it makes almost no difference in my fps
