So I finally found the Dark Brotherhood in Skyrim! After exploring the sanctuary for about 30 seconds I came across the "Shrouded Hand Wraps", this was right after I was given the "Shrouded Gloves" by Astrid. I'm looking at both pieces and besides the obvious armor bonus given by the Gloves, I can't figure out the difference between the two... The Gloves say "Backstab does double damage" and the Hand Wraps say "Double sneak attack damage with one-handed weapons". Does this mean that the Gloves only double the damage if you have the Backstab perk? Or do the Gloves only work with daggers/swords? Also what about the Hand Wraps? They're a bit more self-explanatory but it's very confusing to me as to what EXACTLY these two items do... If anyone can clear this up it would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Gloves are double damage with any melee weapon from behind in any stance... Handwraps are double damage with any one handed weapon when it's a successful sneak attack... gloves are better...

I think the double backstab damage only applies to daggers, and sneak damage bonus to all 1-handed weapons.
