I am currently in the skuldafn temple and cannot find the diamond claw. Everywhere that i have read said that it was either carried by enemies or on the floor next to the puzzle door. it isn"t in either so I can"t progress any further though the game... game killer. all of my saves are also within the temple so i can't even do a different mission. thanks.

This svcks, but it was also very careless of you. You can′t play such a game that is notorious for bugs and not have savegames in multiple places. Save often and switch the saveslots every time.

thanks. I would of but there are more than four doors within the temple when you go through one it autosaves. also i have been through them all several times in search of the claw.

That is really unfortunate. You just learned the hard way to spread your saves out more in Elder Scrolls games.

Also relying on autosaves to take care of you safely in any game is a bad idea.

Manual saves. I have over a hundred of them.

You know, autosaves are handy because you don′t have to do anything. But the problem is that they are overwritten so often.
By pressing Start and going to the options, you can manually save the game; and those savegames are only ever overwritten when you decide to do so. You can have as many of them as you want (or as many as fit on the HDD).

Actually it is recommended that you deactivate autosaves completely in the options and ONLY save manually.

yeah i have manual saves. but when you open the load menu there is only four load, and all of mine are in the skuldafn temple so i cant even leave. it"s also gay because you cant even fast travel from skuldafn.

You can't fast travel from any indoor location. And if your load screen only shows four saves it's because you only made four saves. You can make up to 128.

i have made more than four saves i promise you that. But my load screen only shows four and its annoying.

Well, if you have manual saves they must show up in the load menue. Did you try scrolling up and down? Are you sure you did not manually overwrite all in the temple?

Granted, it is a bit of a problem having a place you can′t return from... they should have left that dragon waiting for you to leave. All you can try now is to make check every place in the area in case it just appeared somewhere else,

Or leave the building and wait a few days, maybe it appears then.
Or turn off your PS3, possibly uninstall and then reinstall Skyrim and load your earliest savegame from the temple

The one carrying the claw is a high level Draugr next to the puzzle door. If he doesn't have it then it's bugged.
