I took up the perk Soul Siphon for Enchanting, which is supposed to recharge weapons with deathblows, and it does not seem to work. Now by deathblows, does it refer to the animated death scenes, or just death by that weapon?

Do you kill with weapon u want to recharge?

It should recharge if your weapon deals the final blow, not poisons/companions/magic.

Yup. Every time I get the "not enough charge" for the weapon, or if it does have a charge I never notice it go up. Mind that this is with a petty soul charge, so I should notice something if it was working.


Maybe companions might be doing the deathblows, but even then I know I have gotten some kills with just the weapon. Perhaps the 5% is so insignificant that it is unnoticeable?

Yea 5% would not be no noticeable on low level enemies, also it only works on non-humans.

I guess stuff like Atronachs will only be noticeable. I guess I got boned on that ordeal
